High School

In high school, junior year and senior year (2018-2020), I had film classes where I discovered my passion for filmmaking. Here, I had very little restrictions, only projects I needed to develop, such as a documentary, or a 2 minute fiction piece.

I was helped by many of my fellow students, teachers, and even people online, where I would post these projects to see.  All of them helped me perfect my craft in storytelling, telling me tricks, and helping me with all of the oddities that come in this field.

Many of these projects are rudimentary comparatively to my "modern" standards, but I personally have emotional connections to these, as I was telling stories that I wanted to tell, no matter how silly or weird they were. I never would say they're bad, but they have tons of mistakes, tons of oddities, sometimes tricks were used to fix things, but it allowed me to shine where I don't usually.

Sometimes I acted, sometimes I directed, sometimes I edited, and a lot of the time, I did it all! What it did is it gave me strength to do all of it, all at once, and showed me what I liked and didn't like, and pushed me to be better.

The Tell Tale Heart by a duo of Geek Teenagers (2018)

Director, Actor, Editor

Title says it all. The first project I personally filmed for school, and was used to describe a version of "The Tell Tale Heart" that we would make in modern times. Very fun project, but notably, I was sick, and tried my hardest to be the best Edgar Allen Poe.

Spider-Man 4: Sony's Mistake (2018)

Director, Actor, Editor

Sam Raimi's Spider-Man trilogy almost had a 4th one, and I explain what happened and why it never came out, with addition to a skit about Tobey Maguire's reaction to hearing that he was fired from set.

Jason's Kooky Hijinks (Double Vison Troube) (2018)

Actor

Jason, who's in a mental hospital, talks to himself in a weird way. We were tasked to only use a script made for us, and make it into our own film. It showed me how editing is so weird if you're not prepared.

The Jacksonator Duology (2018-2019)

Director, Actor, Editor

The Jacksonator asks a simple question. What would happen if The Terminator and Michael Jackson fused to become one entity. Played by my good friend, we found out what would happen. From Ice Cream destruction, Burger King Breaks, Infinity Gauntlet shenanigans, and 4th wall breaks and realizations, this is a project that I let all my ideas out into.

Spider-Comedy 3 (2019)

Editor

An editing project, I turned Spider-Man 3 (2007) into a comedy trailer. It's way more lighthearted, and shows how much editing can change something. I call the editor the "second director" for this very reason, because it can change the whole film's perspective.

Yan Clause (2019)

Director, Editor

Santa Clause is jolly, right? Not this one. He's a thief stealing presents on Christmas night, but when a kid wakes up to see Santa, he has to be quick on his jingle bells. This project was the first real project to be planned a ton ahead of time, showing me how to make a film without just having the idea in my head, and it showed me many tricks I still use to this day.

Guash Control (2019)

Director, Actor, Editor

Gun control is a hot button issue, and in this, me and my friend talk about our views on it, how it effects us, how it affects Americans, all in a goofy, fun package that I strive to show. This is a bit more serious, but I tried to make it informative, persuasive, and fun.

Astronomy Final (2019)

Director, Actor, Editor

My Astronomy teacher tasked us with 2 options for our final. A ten page paper, or a ten minute video. With the help of our teachers, our friends, and my sheer willpower, I got it done. Informational, funny, and has a crazy ending. We had our teacher laughing, and even had a 4th wall break (that's funnier when we presented it). What a wild video!

CoronaVlogs Trilogy (2020)

Director, Actor, Editor

When COVID-19 hit, we had to pause most film production. Not me. Spider-betes and I made vlogs of what I was doing during the pandemic, which was mostly sleep and video games. It was fun, exciting, and a glimpse into who I am behind the "mask".

Coronavirus Informational Video (2020)

VoiceOver, Editor

For my summer job, I created a video presentation about COVID-19 at the time with my coworkers. I edited it all myself, and I wrote all the informational points, and we contributed to a piece that was shown to New York City officials. Probably the biggest film I have made myself to be shown. It's crazy that they loved it! My film!

Check out all of my work!
